The Journey Begins (Again)

So today was the posting of the first clue for Mystery Shawl 2. I'm using Coral Zephyr on US4 needles. (Got the yarn at Bo Peep's Wool Shop) I was kinda bummed that I couldn't cast on the instant I downloaded Chart 1 'cause I discovered the yarn still in the hank. I thought I would never get my ballwinder filled!

Anyhow, obviously I did get the ball wound, and the first clue completed - isn't it lovely?! This is the first time I've knit with a single strand of laceweight, and it took a bit of getting used to. Even switching to fingering for a sock will seem strange now. But I'll get over it.
